Main bearing fault detected 17 months before failure.<\/h3>

Context:<\/strong>The wind turbine was out of service for a year following the failure of the main bearing. Vibration monitoring data from the two years prior to the failure were analyzed by AStrion. <\/p>\n

Early fault Detection and Identification<\/h3>

Context: <\/strong>A fault in the high-speed shaft bearing of a wind turbine was identified during maintenance in May 2025. <\/p>\n

Our Solution:<\/strong> AStrion analysis of available vibration signals revealed the fault in the BPFI<\/b> of a high-speed shaft bearing nearly 8 months before the intervention and 5 months before the triggering of standard alarms (VDI 3834 standard).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n
