WindEurope 2025: the strategic gathering for wind energy predictive maintenance

From 8 to 10 April 2025, ASTRIIS was present at the WindEurope trade show, the annual reference event for the European wind energy industry. The event brings together the sector’s key players — manufacturers, developers, operators, investors — around the challenges of development, innovation and maintenance of onshore and offshore wind farms. For ASTRIIS, a specialist in vibration analysis-based monitoring of critical rotating machines, WindEurope is the strategic trade show par excellence.

Up to 18 months’ anticipation: ASTRIIS’s key advantage for wind farm operators

ASTRIIS showcased the latest advances of its solution, including its ability to anticipate faults on wind turbine rotating machines up to nine months before breakdown — and up to 18 months in some cases. In a sector where a turbine being out of action can mean months of waiting for a replacement part, this anticipation represents a decisive advantage for wind farm operators. Reducing corrective maintenance costs and improving turbine availability rates are the two key benefits highlighted.

Partnerships and prospecting: TotalEnergies, EDF, Valemo and European markets

The trade show was also an opportunity to strengthen ties with key partners such as TotalEnergies, EDF and Valemo, and to prospect new clients in the German, British and Spanish markets, which are priorities for ASTRIIS’s international development. Participation in WindEurope is in line with the France 2030 Export programme that supports ASTRIIS in its deployment across European wind energy markets.
